Are You Hot?
July 23, 2007
I’m a Wellness Supervisor and Personal Trainer at an Athletic Club in Pa (don’t let the title fool you, it doesn’t pay all that well) so I see a handful of women who are relatively equal in body physique to the chick on the right. That I expect to see while at work. What I don’t expect to see, is a website (click the link) full of people like her. OK, wait, I should retract that statement, because the other trainer (male) is all about that bodybuilding competition shit. But still, who sits there at work, looking at that shit with members walking around?
It makes me wonder. Did he create a profile and upload some of his shirtless pictures posing for the camera? Probably. Was he checking himself out to see what other people ranked him? Probably. Is he even more of a tool because of it? Definitely. And does that make him a little gay? Yeah, maybe.
But here is my biggest problems with the website. 1. It is the worst rating site I have ever seen. It pails in comparison to the likes of its predecessors (hotornot.com, facethejury.com, ratemybody.com). Although this site seems more geared towards the world of bodybuilding, and not the ‘general’ population, it still sucks. B. The name of the site is twentyandhot.com, the profiles on here are definitely not all twenty. Some may toe the hot line, but they are leaning away from it. 3. These people really, really think they are hot. Nothing irritates me more than people who can throw up a lot of weight, thinking they are some God damn temple that should be admired and worshiped. Or chics who are sculpted with, albeit nice asses, thinking everything else on them looks good. And this site is exactly the kind of site that allows these people to go on thinking they are truely, in fact, hot. I hope some of them stumble onto my rambling here and get hit with a plate of reality. And in case they do, and this rant goes over their head, allow me to capitalize my thoughts in 4 easy words…YOU ARE NOT HOT!!!
