Belated Goodbye A.N.S.

I don’t know why I feel compelled to write about this tragic event, and it is tragic, but I do. We all know by now that Anna Nicole Smith died yesterday in a Florida hotel. But what we don’t know is how, yet. We can assume that it was some kind of drug overdose. Whether it be accidental, suicide, or homocide. We won’t know for sure how, till later today, but I do think an O.D. is a safe bet and the most obvious explanation.

To me, there are a lot of ways you can dissect what happend. Was it post-pardum? Depression over the death of her son? Maybe the cumulation of both. Or did someone push pills on her? There is a “theory” floating around that Howard K. Stern had something to do with her death. This was first brought to my attention by my fiance last night. (my ears are constantley ringing with hollywood gossip because of her) But she, like others, has a point that maybe Howie had a hand in it. He does get 10% by law of her 450 million dollars from her first husband, the old oil tycoon. The rest most certainly will go to her new baby, which Stern insists is his. So the motive is there. Whether he physically had anything to do with it, no one knows yet, but I think you could argue a good case that mentally he could make her do whatever he wanted. And he was at both, her son’s death (Daniel) and her’s. Coincidence? Who knows.

But let us not mourn. Anna would not want that. (as if I know what she would want). Instead I am going to give her a tribute. She did compare herself to Marilyn Monroe. Though I think that was her dreaming a bit. And let us be honest. She was an absolute train wreck. But before the drugs, and before/during her playboy years, she really was a very pretty woman.
