Best of Craigslist - Women Seeking Men

August 30, 2007

The last two installments from, Best of Craigslist, have been in the form of rants. (Check them out here and here) This week I would like to bring you a beauty from the women seeking men section of the personals.

As you go through and read her most inner love thoughts, I want you to think to yourself - Does this sound like the woman for me? Then I want you to click the link below to see what she looks like. You can than see if your fantasy woman has…the looks and brains you want?

I’m pretty rad, once ya get to know me. :) I have a few piercings and one tattoo. I’m a great listener and have been known to give awesome advice. I’m a total animal lover. My roommate has 2 cats and a snake. I have a 4 year old chihuahua but he lives with my parents. I’m a texting addict and hardly ever talk on the phone, unless it’s to my mom. I love flip flops and wear them every chance I get. I don’t watch much tv but I really like watching movies. I’m overall pretty much just a down to earth, laid back chick. I’m looking for a great guy to sweep me off my feet. Someone that understands me and that I can fall head over heels for. I love guys with a great sense of humor because I love to laugh. I want someone that will meet my friends and my family and have them fall for him too. Their opinion is highly valued. I’m a smoker so I need someone that won’t be bothered by that. I’d also like him to have a car and a steady job. Someone that can be patient with my stubbornness and be willing to sit down and talk things out if there’s ever conflict. I’d pretty much just really love to find someone that is just like me - down to earth, caring, understanding, and funny. I’m not looking to just fool around. I am out here looking for something that could potentially become serious. It doesn’t have to start out that way, but if the connection is there, I’d love for it to move in that direction.

I have a Myspace, but it’s private. If it’s easier to message me there, go ahead and do so. :) www.myspace.com/amm12

Please be between ages 24 and 34, and reply with a picture.

Have your opinions changed? If you thought she really did sound like a “rad” chick, than your answer should be a resounding, YES!!!, because she looks like a busted old shoe. For those of you who can sniff out a nasty bitch, like myself, by what she writes, congratulations. But those of you who couldn’t, take note. Anyone who uses the word “rad”, “awesome”, “down to earth”, “laid back” or “someone just like me” - run, hide, and don’t return the message. It’s for your own good.

Nielson/NetRatings has issued a study showing that the top 10 social networking sites saw traffic grow 47% over the last year, with MySpace seeing the biggest growth (367% increase) and MSN Spaces (286%) seeing the biggest growth. Hosted blogging systems were included in the study.

One thing to note about those numbers is that while Classmates had one of the lowest positive growth rates at 10%, they spend loads on advertising while MySpace, Youtube, and Facebook haven’t spent a penny.

If I recall correctly, a couple years ago Classmates.com was one of the 10 largest spenders on online advertising.

There are plenty of new social networking sites poping up but what get’s me why can’t myspace there instant messenger working. $580 mill and can’t afford to fix instant messenger BAD myspace.
There are so many better ones how about http://cubiclelife.net for example has all the features of myspace plus quizzes, polls, webchat with audio and video oh and hey they have instant messenger. You have a long way to go myspace.
