Greatest Fights Of All Time: USA vs. UK

December 11, 2007

Saturday night was one of Boxings biggest nights in a very long time. And the Mayweather/Hatton fight did not disappoint. While some people do not like the attitude and cockiness of Mayweather, no one can argue against the fact that he is, especially after Saturday night’s fight, pound for pound the best fighter of his generation. He is lighting fast and very smart in the ring, Pretty lethal combination. I also though Hatton would have been able to bully his way through the fight and land more clean punches than he did. Nor did I think Hatton would lose by KO. Not that I didn’t think Mayweather couldnt KO him, but I thought Hatton would have worked him over more along the ropes. But as Hatton said after the fight, “he is great at cutting down your angles.” If you saw the fight, I’m sure you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Here are a few other memorable fights from years past that showcased USA vs UK.
