How Pissed Would You Be If An Airline Kicked You Off The Plane Because Of Your Attire? My Guess…Pissed!!!

Would you be embarrassed, offended, confused, if an airline attendant told you you could not board the plane unless you changed your outfit? Probably a little bit of everything and a whole lot of pissed off. Would you even believe me if I told you that shit actually happend? Well, it did. To 23 year old Kyla Ebbert, San Diego CA. Apparently, her outfit was too “revealing” for a family airline, Southwest Airlines.

Look, she is a young college student. Not everything they wear on any particular day will be Sister Anne like. But I have yet to see a girl wearing stripper shoes and latex, with a cut out crotch on a plane. And I have flown many a plane. The outfit that she had worn, is nothing more than a cute outfit by today’s standards. It would probably even be considered “stylish” amongst women.

Kyla appeared on the Today Show this past Friday with my boy Matt Lauer. Wearing the same exact outfit she wore on the plane (picture to the right). If that is truely the outfit that she wore, this flight attendant, a male, had a serious issue. Personally, I see nothing wrong with the outfit. I wouldn’t wear it myself, but to each his own, in this case her own. The flight attendant, Keith, had this to say just after he asked to her to leave her seat and join him in the jetway…

I’m sorry, but you’re going to have to take a later flight. You’re dressed inappropriately. This is a family airline. You’re dressed too provocative to fly on this flight.

Provacative? Are you fucking kidding me? That is practically business casual these days.

Here is my take on the whole rediculous situation. It was stated that she had first taken her seat before approached by Keith “the flight attendant”. Scenario…she wasn’t wearing any panties. In which case, sure, with how short her skirt was, she could have easily pulled a Britney. Now obviously with little kids around you don’t want someone’s who-ha hanging out. Which could be then considered lude, and he would have had the right to ask her to leave, change or put some panties on. But if she was wearing them, then all is covered and you can’t deem the outfit lude.

And here is another little piece that doesn’t fit to me. She stated…

I had a doctor’s appointment.

I don’t know of any women, regardless of whether or not they are prone to go commando, would ever do it when going to see the doctor. Any Doctor! So I think, unfortunately for her, this guy was just being a complete asshole. He got hit with a little bit of a power trip and took it out on her because he didn’t like what he saw. Or he did like what he saw and remembered getting laughed at in high school by girls who looked like her.

By the way…Does she look a little run down for being 23 years old to anyone else but me? Too much make-up maybe?
