Super Bowl XLI
February 4, 2007
Super Bowl XLI has come and gone again. And again the Eagles did not win it. And because they were not even playing tonight, I really didn’t care who won. However, I am a fan of Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning, so I was pulling for a Colts victory. Which happened, if you took the time to actually sit and watch the game. The game itself was a bit ugly in the turnover bracket, but it stayed a close game through about 80% of it and that kept me watching. Well the commercials kept me watching too. All in all, I say it was a fairly entertaining sporting event, and congratulations to the Colts fans.
P.S. - As an Eagles fan…you all fucking suck and I hope you trip and fall on something sharp

for those of us who didn’t watch the super bowl i would like to comment on 2 prime tv shows discovered while channel surfing:
1. Puppy Bowl III (Animal Planet) - puppies are placed in a miniature scaled football field type playpen and just wrestle eachother for 3 HOURS…the only human interaction/appearance (aside from the canned cheering in the background) was the ref who entered the pen to pick up poop, calling it a ‘foul’
2. Dance Off Pants Off - a ‘must’ for all you gentlemen…various contestants dance in front of a green screen displaying some type of music video to which they STRIP down to their skivvies (they actually get naked but don’t show it on TV, obviously.) you can then vote for your favorite and log online to watch them dance again. The best part? STEPHANIE TANNER is the host (Jodi Sweetin who was in rehab last year for her meth addiction)
American TV is awesome….
P.S. I’ll admit to tivo-ing part of the Puppy Bowl only so I could watch it again in the morning and make sure it wasn’t a hallucination (not because that little boxer was just so damn cute!)
You know I heard about the Puppy Bowl from another person as well. I am going to have to check it out next year.
And what is the time and channel of dance off pants off?
ps - thanks for making an appearance SB
Interesting. I wasn’t aware that Super Bowl XLI had already come and gone once before, let alone again. I guess you really DO learn something new every day. Thanks, StickyButter!
